I’m Akari, a designer based in Bellevue, WA, who brings creativity, care, and thoughtful attention to every project. My approach combines simplicity, balance, and sustainability to create spaces that are both timeless and practical.

I was born and raised in Japan, where I developed a deep appreciation for simplicity, craftsmanship, and harmony with nature. After moving to the U.S., I began to see my culture’s quiet beauty from a new perspective — how peace can come from thoughtful design and uncluttered spaces. That realization inspired me to blend Japanese simplicity with modern functionality, creating interiors that feel calm, balanced, and deeply personal.

From family homes to inspiring cafés, I design with empathy and purpose, helping clients transform their spaces into environments that truly reflect who they are.

I speak English and Japanese, making it easy to connect with a diverse community of clients across Bellevue and Seattle.
